It's probably going to be awhile before we actually see complete ports of the Total War strategy series from the PC to our mobile devices but that doesn't mean we can't have some fun with historical battles on our smartphones and tablets. Today SEGA announced Total War Battles: Shogun for Android and iOS devices. The game is a re-imagining of the Total War series and has been specifically designed for multi-touch interfaces. While you won't get epic scale battles like the Total War games, you will get exciting real-time strategy gameplay that you can bring with you everywhere you go.
