With close to 900 backers raising about $52,000 more than the Kickstarter goal of twenty grand, MO-TO designers Vlad and Florin seem to have a small hit on their hands. The Tax the Rich crew has a knack for indulging in automotive fantasies and capturing it all on video, such as a tug-of-war battle between two Ferrari F50s, drifting a Ferrari Enzo on gravel roads and even powersliding a Rolls-Royce Phantom on a field of wet grass. This latest video features a Jaguar XJ220 and a kid with an iPad, who somehow is able to control the old supercar with the Apple product. No, there's no app for that (yet), and we lied - the boy isn't actually controlling the car - but it sure is nice to see the XJ220 in all its turbocharged, six-cylinder glory doing donuts and sliding across a grassy field.

While the Moto X officially launched last week on AT&T and today on Verizon Wireless, there are still many questions left unanswered in regards to Moto X availability remaining carriers like Sprint and T-Mobile. When it comes to T-Mobile, we may have a little more info on where customers will be able to purchase the device and oddly enough, it appears it wont be through retail stores, or direct from Motorola. Rumor has it that Samsung Electronics co-CEO JK Shin ordered that the company's first Tizen smartphone be delayed. The smartphone was previously expected to be launched in the third quarter of 2013, it was rumored that Samsung had pushed the launch to October, or the fourth quarter of this year. Shin apparently handed down this order so that Samsung could get even more time to create “the best smartphone.”. It is said that the company was testing Tizen on a Galaxy S3, some considered this to be a hint that the first Tizen smartphone would have hardware similar to the Galaxy S3.

Sony is continuing its #bestOfSony teasers of the Xperia Z1 / Honami with a look at the camera. A G logo next to it indicates the upcoming cameraphone will be using Sony's G lens, which is Sony's line of lenses for DSLRs and digicams. There's an LED flash next to the camera – single-LED and no xenon as early rumors indicated. We guess the Xperia Z1 will rely on its relatively big 1x2.3" sensor for low-light photography. It's about 70% bigger than most smartphone camera sensors used at the moment.

Subaru BRZ tS makes its brief video debut

Ever since Subaru released the BRZ, fans have been eagerly anticipating the arrival of the STI version. But despite the recent release of the tS package, the brand faithful will have to wait a little longer, because the tS stops short of the full STI treatment. But at least it looks the part. Though the BRZ tS doesn't encompass any major engine mods to speak of, it does benefit from a number of enhancements: a new driveshaft, aero kit, Brembo brakes, Recaro buckets and more. Which may be more than enough for some, but to tip the scales of disappointment, Subaru will only make 500 such examples, and they'll only be available in Japan.
