The Sony Xperia Pepper that we've seen quite a few times until now has been officially announced today as the Sony Xperia Sola. The Xperia Sola is Sony's first handset to come with "floating touch navigation." This lets you browse the web by hovering your finger above the screen (hence without touching it). It's an interesting idea, but it remains to be seen how it works in real life.
