Leaked display may be definitive proof of iPad 3 double resolution, 4 times the pixel!

MacRumors claims that they have scored an iPad 3 display. According to their analysis, the new iPad - which should be well into production at this point - will have two times the current generation's resolution: 2,048 x 1,536 pixels. Four times the pixels. That's pretty insane.
The current 9.7-inch iPads have 1024 x 768 pixels. That's a density of 132 pixels per inch. If this part turns out to be the real McCoy, the iPad 3 will have two times this resolution: 263.84ppi. It's not the 326ppi of the iPhone 4, but it's really high.

If true, the new iPad 3 will have a razor-sharp display.

Nevada approves self-driving cars on public roadways

If you happen to be driving around in the state of Nevada, don't be surprised if you encounter an unmanned vehicle on the streets or highways. The state became the first to officially approve rules for self-driving cars on public roads earlier this week. While there aren't a lot of self-driving cars available on the market right now, you can expect to see Google's driverless Prius take a lot more trips out in the public in the near future.

Apparently, being the Official Automotive Marketing partner of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit property was just the excuse Lexus needed to get in touch with swimsuit model Tori Praver. And we can hardly blame them. But what could Praver's statuesque body and perfectly feminine features have to do with cars, you ask. That's a very good question, and it's one we're sure the Lexus marketing team spent hours considering. The answer, interestingly enough, is all in the curves.

Following up on the video Lexus brought us showing two racers drifting a 2013 Lexus GS F Sport around a makeshift track drawn around the gigantor-size body of Ms.

Apple CEO: No pressure from Microsoft, PC industry is chasing MacBook Air

. Apple deviated from its standard closed-door approach to unveiling new software earlier this week and gave a number of media outlets early access to an upcoming version of its OS X operating system for Macs. Apple's OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion will launch this summer, featuring a wide range of enhancements that will see Apple's desktop platform look and behave more like its mobile platform. Executives from the Cupertino, California-based technology giant even met with reporters personally to demonstrate the new software, perhaps in an effort to help foster the same type of enthusiasm for OS X that iOS enjoys.

Gooroovster brings Google Music to Windows Phone

Google Music, Google's online music locker service, allows you to access music from pretty much any device that has a web browser. But as we all know, most web apps have limitations when compared to native apps and at the moment there is no official Google Music app for Windows Phone. A developer has decided to solve the problem by creating their own Google Music app called Gooroovster. Available now on the Windows Marketplace, it gives users a way to access the music service through a native app. All users have to do is login to their Google account and they're good to go.

Nokia 302 leaks as the successor to the C3, bringing QWERTY to the masses soon

Nokia 302 leaks as the successor to the C3, bringing QWERTY to the masses soon

After causing iPhone-like queues when it launched in Indonesia, the Nokia C3 seems to be on the way out. This is the QWERTY C3 we're talking about, not the C3-01, mind. It definitely looks like the Finns have a successor already cooked up, and it will apparently be called the Nokia 302. It will of course retain the QWERTY keyboard, and it adopts a more conservative styling compared to its predecessor. The Nokia 302 will have a 3.2 MP camera (an upgrade from the C3′s 2 MP unit). And that's all we know about it for now.

The Nokia C3 was that company's cheapest QWERTY phone, so the 302 should follow in those footsteps.

A single share of Apple stock now costs more than an iPad

. The “Apple is worth more than” meme has gotten plenty of play over the past year, but a new measure of Apple's success emerged on Monday that is as simple as it is monumental: a single share of Apple stock now costs more than an iPad. As of the open of the market on Monday, Apple's stock rose just above $499 - the entry-level price of Apple's iPad 2 - undoubtedly on its way to $500 and beyond. The Cupertino-based firm that once teetered on the brink of bankruptcy and was saved in part by a $150 million investment from Microsoft is now worth more than Microsoft and Google combined.
