When it comes to smartphone operating systems, it really boils down to personal preference, and of course usability also is taken into account. The original ARCHOS GamePad wasn't the most popular or successful device ever, but the folks at Archos felt the need to bring us a sequel anyway. The Gamepad 2 has recently been spotted at retailer HKDTC's website, with the listing giving us a nice, clear look at the device and some of its early specs. The page has since been taken down, but not before folks had a chance to spot the information. The listing apparently mentioned that this device would have a 1.6GHz quad-core processor (unknown make and model), a 1280 x 800 display (no information on size), 2GB of RAM, and either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot.
