Gold HTC One Spotted In Leaked Photos

Gold HTC One Spotted In Leaked Photos

Earlier this week, Apple finally unveiled two new iPhones, the iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S, both of which would be made available in a variety of colors. The iPhone 5S, however, will have gold as one of its color options giving those of us who enjoy the finer things in life the chance to really enjoy the luxury that comes with owning a gold iPhone. It looks like the gold phone bandwagon has received a newcomer as HTC looks to be building their own gold HTC One, according to some leaked images that hit the Internet today.

Straight Talk now offers 4G LTE on AT&T - unlimited talk, text, and data for $45 a month

Straight Talk now offers 4G LTE on AT&T - unlimited talk, text, and data for $45 a month

It's no secret AT&T's wireless plans aren't exactly the most “affordable” out there. Even if you opt for their new Aio pre-paid service — the one that recently went live around the country a few days ago — you're still looking at $55 for 2GB of data. Straight Talk now has 4G LTE.
If that was still a little too rich for your blood, Straight Talk may have just become your next best option. The pre-paid MVNO silently upgraded their wireless service that (finally) allows customers to access AT&T's blazing fast 4G LTE network where previously only HSPA+ was available.

Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon pitted against Icon Derelict

Mercedes E63 AMG Wagon pitted against Icon Derelict

Johnny Lieberman hates his job. And who wouldn't, we ask you. Hanging out at racetracks, driving two of the very coolest high-performance station wagons on the planet and, of course, dressing up funny for nobody's benefit but yours, Internet Denizen. Sounds terrible, right.
Seriously, though, we tend to get a bit jealous when we watch any new episode of Head 2 Head from Motor Trend, let alone when the cars being compared are the 2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S 4Matic Wagon, and the 1952 Chrysler Town & Country Custom Wagon-based Icon Derelict.

2013 Hyundai i10 gets Frankfurt showing, official engine lineup [w/videos]

Hyundai strutted its tiny but fashionable i10 onto the Frankfurt floor today, showing off the new, second-generation city car to the assembled media. The i10 was originally unveiled in August, although at the time, we didn't have much info on powertrains or other items. Europe, where the i10 will be sold, gets a pair of gas-powered engines from Hyundai's Kappa family, displacing 998cc and 1.25 liters, respectively. The smaller, three-cylinder engine is limited to just 65 horsepower and 69 pound-feet of torque. It's also available with an LPG option, which adds one hp at the cost of three lb-ft of torque.

Swype Co-Founder creates Dryft virtual keyboard, wants to change the way you type on tablets [VIDEO]

When it comes to Android, virtual keyboards are dime a dozen. It seems like every other week we're sent a new press release from a new startup promising to revolutionize the way we type on our Android devices. And we get it. Typing away on virtual keys still hasn't reached the level the accuracy as typing on physical ones. More than often these new keyboards end up falling short of expectations, but this new keyboard — born from the mind of Swype's co-founder, Randy Mardsen — caught our interest. Here's why.

Built especially for tablets, Dryft is a virtual keyboard that actually doesn't want to change the way you type.

LG-LS995 Receives Bluetooth Certification

LG-LS995 Receives Bluetooth Certification

Another day has gone by, and here we are with the LG-LS995 having picked up its Bluetooth Certification. So far, we have absolutely no idea on what the mysterious LG-LS995 is all about, although we do know that it has already received its Bluetooth certification and was listed on September 12th, 2013. The LG-LS995 was filed at the end of last month, taking a couple of weeks before it picked up its certification, where it has been confirmed that it will run on the CDMA network if required. This would mean that the LG-LS995 could very well be on its way to Verizon Wireless, or perhaps China Telecom on a different continent.

Twitter Has A New Feature To Manage Twitter Conversations Better

Twitter Has A New Feature To Manage Twitter Conversations Better

Twitter, fresh off word that they are lining up an IPO, has unveiled a new exclusive feature for verified users (basically those who have a blue check mark) that will assist them in filtering their Twitter mentions in the “Connect” tab which is located right above their feed. These verified users are now able to check out their mentions via a trio of different categories; namely all, filtered, and verified. The reason behind this move is to enable users to easily identify the conversations which might prove to be most important, while sifting out the rest of the riff raff and spam that comes with the territory.

Judging by how long we waited to get a clear shot of the Mercedes-Benz S500 Plug-in Hybrid, you'd have thought hybrid cars were only driven by Terminators and that the technology arrived only 48 hours ago through a wormhole in the Mercedes stand. The newest member of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class hybrid band - joining the S400 Hybrid and S350 BlueTEC Hybrid, it hits notes like a 5.5-second sprint from standstill to 62 miles per hour, up to 19 miles of ion-powered running and uses three liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers in Europe (78.41 mpg US, but our mpg test cycle is different than their mpg test cycle).

Nokia's Ad Takes A Humorous Jab At The iPhone 5C

Nokia's Ad Takes A Humorous Jab At The iPhone 5C

Earlier today the iPhone 5C was announced and just like the leaks, the official device was shown off in a myriad of colors. However when one thinks of phones with bright colors, one might think of Nokia, and Nokia knows that and has since released an ad on its Facebook page (and their Twitter account) mocking the new iPhone 5C. As you can see in the picture above, Nokia basically showed off their range of colorful Nokia Lumia Windows Phone devices, with the tag line that reads, "Imitation is the best form of flattery", a motto Apple should probably live by instead of suing Samsung and vice versa.

The other day we spotted Samsung's Tizen 3.0 operating system running on the Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone, and now thanks to newly leaked images (via Tizen Experts), Tizen 3.0 can be seen running on the Samsung Galaxy S3. The photos don't show anything new, other than the operating system running on a different device, but for those seeing this for the first time, it is a stark departure from the TouchWiz UI that Samsung typically employs with its Galaxy lineup of Android devices.

iPhone 5S: Preview Of The New Features

Without much surprise but with plenty of expectations, Apple has unveiled the iPhone 5S to the world. The smartphone uses. This time, the rumors were exactly spot-on and overall it looks nearly identical to the iPhone 5. The noticeable external differences are the ring around the Home button and the dual-LED flash in the back and the updated "gold" color.
Of course, the inside is another story. Apple has updated the main chip from an A6 to an A7 custom processor designed by Apple. Apple points out that A7 uses a more modern 64-bit chip (vs.

Infiniti Q30 Concept might be the cleverest Q model yet

When we first got official word of the Infiniti Q30 Concept, the Japanese automaker said that the crossover's "harmonious contrasts and dissymmetric philosophy" would "make an emotional connection with customers spontaneously." Now, we might not be heads of design studios or directors of marketing departments, but we're pretty sure we can translate that to: "The production Q30 will compete with the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class.".

Mercedes Concept S-Class Coupe says 'see ya' to the CL-Class

There are no fancy names or overly conceptual styling gimmicks that leave any doubt as to what Mercedes just revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show. With the exception of a few minor alterations here and there, the Concept S-Class Coupe gives us a thinly veiled look at the long-awaited replacement for the CL-Class, the all-new S-Class Coupe. As we would have expected, the styling of this coupe concept is far more aggressive than the new S-Class sedan that was introduced earlier this year.

It may be early in the morning here in the US, but in Germany, the first day of the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show is in full swing. BMW took advantage of the early start and showed off its long-awaited i8 plug-in hybrid sportscar, a two-plus-two, swan-wing-doored coupe, to the Frankfurt crowd. We drove a BMW i8 prototype back in August, so many of the things we're reading today are clarifications on our initial suspicions or speculations. Underhood sits a 1.5-liter, turbocharged, three-cylinder engine.

A $40 digital camera from AC Gears

A $40 digital camera from AC Gears

My daughter always wanted a digital camera, but they were always too expensive to just hand over to a young child – and still are.  Of course, there were toy cameras, but they weren't enough for the older child who wanted to actually have a picture to keep – and they were expensive, too.  Now AC Gears is offering the Bonzart Lit Mini LCD Digital Camera for the price of some toy cameras today.  The Lit is a 3MP camera that can take stills or videos and can add effects real-time.  You can view your shot as you take it on the built-in LCD screen.

If you take the power consumption of your mobile devices serious, then you probably travel with your charging cable everywhere you go just in case you need an extra bit of juice to make it through your day. It's easy to forget to throw a cable into your backpack or purse when you're rushed, but this new iPhone 5 case makes it easy to have a Lightning cable readily available at all times. The case comes from South Korea's LAB.C and what it does is it fuses a small Lightning cable to its rear.

Buffalo DriveStation DDR review

Buffalo DriveStation DDR review

The DriveStation DDR line of external USB 3.0 drives from Buffalo (in capacities from 2 to 3 TB – the 2TB version is reviewed) make the bold claim on the box that you should “Compare to SSD!” when considering them. That claim is based on the speed up you get from the 1GB of included DDR RAM inside the enclosure which provides a dedicated buffer for the device. That buffer, along with the use of a speedy Seagate Drive using a 6MB/Sec SATA connection to the also speedy USB 3.0 connection the enclosure's hardware also provides mostly delivers on that claim.

Colin Chapman left quite a legacy with his "add lightness" philosophy. Lotus was founded on that principle. Caterham soliders on in that spirit as well. And now a new outfit has in turn grown out of Caterham. That outfit is called Zenos, and it's spearheaded by former Caterham chief Ansar Ali.
