ZTE P945 Leaked

I don't know about you, but I figure out that the phablet scene is starting to get ridiculous. When will the madness stop where screen size is concerned for the phablet. 6.99". The Huawei Ascend Mate certainly pushed new boundaries with a 6.1" screen size, and there are whispers going around that the ZTE P945 will also outsize the Samsung Galaxy Note 2's 5.5" display with a 5.7" device.
The ZTE P945 could be one of the first few phablets in the market to forge new horizons within the 5.6-to-6-inch space.

Famed Brabham name poised for return to F1?

Famed Brabham name poised for return to F1?

A recent report wonders aloud whether the Brabham name is close to a return to Formula One, with family scion David telling a Brazilian outlet "yes, there is the possibility to bring the team back (to F1)." However, the short answer to "Is the Brabham name coming back to Formula One?" is likely "No," and the long answer is likely, "Not for a while.". Why is the rumored return (a thin rumor, at that) even a news item. Because during his spell in the sport, as a driver and then as a team owner, Jack Brabham brought about as much panache, prestige and intrigue to F1 as Ferrari does cachet.

Some Chevy dealers ceasing Volt sales due to costly tools

Some Chevy dealers ceasing Volt sales due to costly tools

Automotive dealerships are accustomed to training sales and service professionals when new models arrive, but the plug-in hybrid Chevrolet Volt – and its pricey additional tool and equipment costs – is frustrating some low-volume retailers to the point of dropping the model from the showroom. A recent report says that a few discontented dealers have stopped carrying the innovative sedan because General Motors is requiring a more significant investment in the near future, and the specialized costs (in excess of $5,000) aren't offset by the model's slow sales at those establishments.

Facelifted Buick LaCrosse caught in China

Facelifted Buick LaCrosse caught in China

Back in September, General Motors promised nine new or refreshed models for its Buick and GMC brands within 12 months, and while we've already seen what the updated 2014 GMC Sierra will look like, we're now getting our first look at what appears to be the facelifted 2014 Buick LaCrosse. Judging by a set of spy shots posted on Autohome showing a Chinese-market model, the updated sedan is getting a pretty big makeover, including a completely redesigned interior and a refreshed exterior. From the outside, all of the usual midcycle updates have been made to the LaCrosse, including new lights and fascias.

fitbit one and fitbit zip review

fitbit one and fitbit zip review

As an adult I realize that it is prudent to take care of your body so that it lasts as long as possible, but intentions are easier than practice. Â  Motivation is the issue, and that's where two devices from fitbit, the One and Zip,  can help you keep track of your progress and hopefully lead you to a healthier lifestyle. This isn't the first fitbit device I've had.  After reading Julie's review of the original fitbit Ultra, I purchased one for my wife.  (Guys, before you do this make sure she wants it, otherwise you could be sending the wrong message).  It worked great until she sent it through the laundry via the washer and dryer.  It

Renault will have new Alpine ready by end of 2015

We earlier reported that Renault's revival of the Alpine name would take four years. But Stephen Norman, head of marketing for Renault, says to expect the first new Alpine sometime before the end of 2015. Norman also tells Autocar that the Alpine jointly developed with Caterham "won't be more hardcore than a Mazda MX-5." He went on to say we should expect a competitor for the Porsche Boxster and high-performance Audi TTS. "You can't betray the DNA of Alpine," Norman says. "That's a third of what the car will be."

But the executive also says its DNA is certainly French, "It must be light and look different, and have a touch of French Dash.

Huawei's Partner Accused Of Selling Embargoed HP Computers To Company In Iran

It was only a couple of months ago that Chinese companies Huawei and ZTE were thought to be of national threat by the US government, and whether that is true or not remains to be seen, but in the meantime it looks like Huawei has been hit with another scandal which certainly does not look to help their case. It seems that one of Huawei's major partners has been accused of trying to sell embargoed computer systems to Iran. According to the reports, Huawei's partner was prepared to sell $1.7 million worth of HP computer equipment to an Iran company called Mobile Telecommunication Co, or also known as MCI.

Smartrod Could Be Future Of Fishing

Smartrod Could Be Future Of Fishing

None of us over here at Ubergizmo are fishing experts, and we tend to fish for Facebook comments and interaction with our dear readers more than the scaled and finned variety, but we are definitely down for some sushi as well as salmon steak if we were famished. Still, the Indiegogo project known as the Smartrod might be useful for anglers, and if you are one who loves to be out in the open sea or lakes to wait patiently for a bite, why not share your insight on whether the Smartrod could be useful to you.
