I don't know about you, but I figure out that the phablet scene is starting to get ridiculous. When will the madness stop where screen size is concerned for the phablet. 6.99". The Huawei Ascend Mate certainly pushed new boundaries with a 6.1" screen size, and there are whispers going around that the ZTE P945 will also outsize the Samsung Galaxy Note 2's 5.5" display with a 5.7" device.

Back in September, General Motors promised nine new or refreshed models for its Buick and GMC brands within 12 months, and while we've already seen what the updated 2014 GMC Sierra will look like, we're now getting our first look at what appears to be the facelifted 2014 Buick LaCrosse. Judging by a set of spy shots posted on Autohome showing a Chinese-market model, the updated sedan is getting a pretty big makeover, including a completely redesigned interior and a refreshed exterior. Renault will have new Alpine ready by end of 2015

We earlier reported that Renault's revival of the Alpine name would take four years. But Stephen Norman, head of marketing for Renault, says to expect the first new Alpine sometime before the end of 2015. Norman also tells Autocar that the Alpine jointly developed with Caterham "won't be more hardcore than a Mazda MX-5." He went on to say we should expect a competitor for the Porsche Boxster and high-performance Audi TTS. "You can't betray the DNA of Alpine," Norman says. "That's a third of what the car will be."

According to the reports, Huawei's partner was prepared to sell $1.7 million worth of HP computer equipment to an Iran company called Mobile Telecommunication Co, or also known as MCI.
