Volvo S60, XC60 caught testing with freshened faces

Volvo S60, XC60 caught testing with freshened faces

Neither the Volvo S60 nor the Volvo XC60 are that old, but the Swedish automaker is wasting no time ensuring that two of its most popular products don't get stagnant on the market, a fate that has befallen some of the other products it offers. Even though these two models helped usher in a new styling direction for Volvo not too long ago, the modest facelifts on tap for both looks like they will bring both products closer to the styling of the handsome overseas V40 hatchback. Aside from the pointier front end, the XC60 crossover is also getting a revised rear fascia that now includes integrated dual exhaust outlets.

Jack Olsen built one Porsche to do it all

Jack Olsen built one Porsche to do it all

Jack Olson has built himself a lair called the 12-Gauge Garage, and inside that garage he built a lairy Porsche 911 nicknamed Black Beauty II. Although it looks like one of Stuttgart's models from the sixties or seventies, it is actually four decades of 911 gubbins from 1965 to 2000 thrown under one shell: the lightweight body is from 1972, the transaxle from 1977, the brakes from a 1986 Turbo, the engine from 1995, for example. It weighs 2,400 pounds and it's got 272 horsepower to get it going, but it's still a pure Porsche, Olson saying, "If you stop thinking about what you're doing, it will remind you in very abrupt ways.".

Nomad Brush Nomad FLeX capacitive paintbrush stylus review

The Nomad FLeX is the newest capacitive paintbrush stylus to be offered by Nomad Brush. I reviewed their original Compose Dual Tip paintbrush stylus a couple years ago and found it to offer a better painting experience when compared to a normal stylus. If you enjoy creating art on your iPad, Android or other tablet, you need to add a paintbrush style stylus to your gear. Let's see if the new nomad FLeX is a worthy stylus to consider.

Kate Upton washes 2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA in glorious slow motion for Super Bowl

. Mercedes-Benz made news in December when we learned that Kate Upton, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition cover model, would be pitching the automaker's all-new 2014 CLA at the Super Bowl next month. With Mercedes determined to target a more youthful buyer for its stylish compact sedan, choosing a beautiful 20-year-old pinup seemed to make good sense.
In order to tease us before the big game, the German automaker has just released a 90-second video with the very seductive Upton interacting with soap suds and her blonde hair.
