Late last evening, we showed you guys a preview snapshop of Google co-founder Sergey Brin wearing Google's latest project “Google Glass” augmented reality glasses. Well, the picture wasn't as clear as we would like. But, as promised, I dug up these higher resolution pictures here for us to examine (or scoff at depending on your position). As a self conscious tech enthusiast who is always excited to try out the latest gadgets — I just can't see myself wearing something like this out in public. I admit, the idea is great.

Viper coming to Forza this summer, will include Autovista version (video)

Anyone with an Xbox 360 and Forza Motorsport 4 will be able to get their hands on a virtual version of the all-new 2013 SRT Viper. As revealed at its New York Auto Show debut, the hotly anticipated American supercar is headed to the game as part of an exclusive Viper Pack. Turn 10, the studio behind the game's development, has revealed that the Viper Pack will be available this summer, and in addition to a drivable version of the Viper, will also include a Viper Autovista experience that lets players inspect the car very closely using their controllers or the hands-free Kinect system.

We do know that Microsoft has registered a slew of “Halo Infinity” domains, and as to the kind of plans that Microsoft has for those domains remain to be seen. Here we are with word that Halo 4 will be featured on Game Informer's May issue cover, and when you flip the magazine open, it will be part of a 14-page extravaganza, all concentrating on nothing but Halo 4 itself. This cover story will be chock full of details concerning the new game, ranging from information on just where the story is headed to hands-on impressions of multiplayer gaming, as well as inside information on Halo's multiplayer experience.

Ever since the Titanic, there has always been some element of risk when navigating ships through icebergs. Through the years, scientists have attempted to come up with ways of eliminating or highlighting icebergs so passing ships will be alerted to their danger. Since icebergs move around, and are commonly veiled by thick fog or rough seas, they can often be masked from view or a ship's radar. After trying to paint icebergs, plant radio transmitters on them, and even detonating explosives on them, they still posed a high risk to ships that have to eventually pass that route.

Rockstar Games has just announced that Max Payne for Android is on its way. Unfortunately we have a bit to wait compared to our iOS counterparts who will be getting the game April 12. The wait isn't long, however, as they have given us a solid date of April 26th. The third person shooting title follows Max Payne, an ex-NYPD cop turned DEA agent who is taken on a thrill ride full of lush story-telling, engaging gameplay, and a world filled with interesting characters.

Translogic goes for a walk with MABEL the walking robot

Our sister site Translogic visits the University of Michigan in their latest episode to check out a bipedal robot named MABEL. While other similar robots like ASIMO (built by Honda), and the Partner Robots (from Toyota) have wowed crowds with their ability to walk upright, MABEL advances the technology with a complex system of springs in its knees so that its gait more resembles actual human locomotion. This enables MABEL to actually run like a human, with both "feet" leaving the ground for part of each stride. MABEL actually set a world record for fastest two-legged machine last summer, hitting a peak pace of 6.8 miles per hour.

Androids really do come in all shapes and sizes. If you don't believe that check out these two models of landline based DECT cordless Android powered phones that passed through FCC. Both Motorola models, the HS1101 and MBP2000PU are virtually the same except for their color (one's silver and white while the other one is black. The handsets run Ice Cream Sandwich and they both come with a 3.2" LCD display with a resolution of 400 x 240 pixels. The phones also come with a front-facing camera, stereo 1.5 watt speakers, microSD storage and a micro-USB port.

RIM isn't doing too well for itself and it seems that its new CEO isn't closed to the idea of selling the company off. Now it looks like the first public offer for the company has been made by a company called United Vision Marketing Firm owned by Dr. Nono C. Pearson (pictured in the photo to the right), a "country-style" rap innovator, a former DJ, songwriter and supposedly someone with “the copyrights to prove that he is the owner of what he calls ‘Corporate Hip Hop'".

2013 Subaru BRZ priced from $25,495*

Subaru announced today that the starting price of its much anticipated BRZ sports car will be $25,495 when it goes on sale. We don't have an exact date, but Subaru says it will arrive in dealerships "this spring.". The starting price of $25,495 does include a destination charge of $750* and will get you the BRZ Premium with a six-speed manual transmission. Choosing a six-speed automatic will add $1,100 for a new total of $26,595.

We were promised that the phone-that-goes-tablet would ship in April, and it looks like ASUS is keeping its word. On its own, the Snapdragon S4-powered 1.5GHz dual-core phone is priced at NT$17,990 (US$610), while the tablet set - including that curious Bluetooth headset / stylus - will set you back NT$24,980 (around US$850). Redesigned 15-inch Apple MacBook Pro

Word has it that Apple is set to start mass producing a 15-inch MacBook Pro in mid-April 2012 with initial monthly shipments of 200,000 units. The company will also mass produce a 13-inch model in June 2012 with initial monthly shipments of 300,000-400,000 units. These new MacBook Pros are expected to feature Intel's latest Ivy Bridge chipset such as the Core i7-3720QM and the Core i7-3820QM. Stay tuned for more updates.

Though it's never going to post particularly impressive sales figures, the 2013 SRT Viper is, at least to us driving enthusiasts, the most important debut at the 2012 New York Auto Show. As such, it comes as little surprise that Chrysler has done its best to keep its new snake under cover ahead of its official debut. Despite those efforts, here we have what appears to be photographs snapped during a video presentation showing the 2013 SRT Viper looking rather sinister in crimson.

US Army grants HP $249 million contract to deploy private cloud services

HP is in the Army now. Today, the Palo Alto company announced that it has received a $249 million contract to provide the Department of Defense and other federal agencies with enterprise level cloud computing services. The new initiative will allow the military to consolidate its existing data centers, and the services will be deployed to a number of commercial and government-owned buildings. HP will also provide the military with Performance-Optimized Data Centers (PODs) for quick deployment into tactical situations.

2013 Buick Enclave debuts with new look over same drivetrain

The Enclave has been a boon for Buick since it arrived in 2007, with impressive sales complemented by profitable transaction prices. And even though the big Buick has gone without a refresh since its debut, the Enclave managed its best year ever in 2011, with a segment-leading 58,000 units sold. Buick is hoping to stretch that streak with the Enclave's first refresh for 2013. The tweaked three-row crossover will receive several updates, starting with a new front fascia that includes a black chrome waterfall grille and redesigned hood. Expected to be officially announced tomorrow, April 4, Sprint's version of the HTC One X, likely called HTC Evo One, has appeared in a press shot for the first time. Obtained by PocketNow, the image shows the HTC Evo One flanked by AT&T's HTC One XL, and T-Mobile's HTC One S (which should both be released pretty soon). Feature-wise, the Evo One should bring Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, Sense 4.0 UI, LTE connectivity, 4.7 inch HD (1280 x 720) display, 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8MP rear camera, 16GB of internal memory, a generous 2650 mAh battery, and a kickstand. The handset could become available starting June 10.

Microsoft unwittingly created quite the hacking cottage industry when it first introduced Kinect. Though it took a while for the company to come to grips with the amazing inventions enabled by its sensor bar, Redmond eventually released Kinect for Windows. Now, the Kinect Accelerator program is here to take Kinect development even further. Kinect Accelerator is a three-month long incubator of sorts for folks with Kinect-basted start-ups. It works by providing the chosen ones with mentors from Microsoft Research, Microsoft Studios, Kinect for Windows and the Xbox team to provide support and knowledge to refine and improve their Kinect apps.

Did the likes of HTC's One X and One S catch your attention. Well, those looking for something with a seasoning of Sprint might interested in the phone nestled in the middle. According to Pocketnow, this is a press shot of the HTC Evo One, supposedly packing a 4.7-inch 720p display, a dual-core Snapdragon processor and LTE capabilities. We have our reservations on that name (Evo HD?) and those slightly dated style lines, but know that the Now Network and HTC are primed to show off something tomorrow. Rumors add that a 2650mAh battery and (hopefully intelligently placed) kickstand could also be part of the offering.

2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class breaks cover ahead of NY debut

The New York Auto Show is right around the corner, so let the embargo-break-a-palooza begin. Ahead of its official unveiling later this week, a few images of the 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class have leaked onto the web, and if you're familiar with Merc's new design language, the updates to the big GL will come as no surprise. Up front, the new headlamp design seen on the SLK and SL has translated to the GL, complete with LED running lamps flanking each side above large air intakes. The design almost looks AMG-like, and while we never truly warmed to the design of the current GL, we like the looks of this 2013 model.

Ford investing $1.3B in Mexican plant that builds Fusion, MKZ

Ford must be expecting the 2013 Fusion to be a hit when it arrives in showrooms this fall. As a way to make sure that demand won't outstrip production, Ford is investing $1.3 billion in its Hermosillo Stamping and Assembly facility. Hermosillo currently employs over 3,300 workers, and as part of its investment, Ford will be adding 1,000 new jobs in order to handle production of the 2013 Fusion and its Lincoln MKZ twin.

The Littlest Black Book casing for the iPod nano is cute

While iPhones and iPads have tons of interesting sleeves and cases for them, not much love is shown for the iPod nano apart from the typical watch strap offering. Well Pad & Quill has decided to change that and has since launched a Kickstarter project for an upcoming product dubbed The Littlest Black Book. The company is known for producing Moleskine-like products for the iPhone and iPad so we guess it did not come as a complete surprise that they are attempting to do the same for the iPod nano. As you can see in the photo above, The Littlest Black Book is a miniaturized book cover for the iPod nano.
