The folks at Corning have just announced that they will be bringing a sequel (yes glass can have sequels) to their Corning Gorilla Glass product with Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Set to be in phones later this year, Corning Gorilla Glass 2 will have improvements that will help users protect their displays from damage better than ever. We weren't given the clearest of clues as to what they have done in this sequel but they'll be issuing another issue on the 9th, just a day before CES kicks off.
