Samsung gains some respite Down Under, with word that the South Korean giant picked up victory in an early trial concerning their claim that both the iPhone and iPad 2 in Australia actually infringes its patents on 3G wireless transmissions. According to Australia Federal Court Justice Annabelle Bennett, she ordered that a trial on Samsung's claims to be held next March, clearly going against the wishes of Apple's legal eagles who had opposed an early trial.
