The war is far from over, although Apple might have won some battles here and there concerning Samsung's devices that purportedly infringes on Apple's intellectual property. Samsung gains some respite Down Under, with word that the South Korean giant picked up victory in an early trial concerning their claim that both the iPhone and iPad 2 in Australia actually infringes its patents on 3G wireless transmissions. According to Australia Federal Court Justice Annabelle Bennett, she ordered that a trial on Samsung's claims to be held next March, clearly going against the wishes of Apple's legal eagles who had opposed an early trial.
