The ChildPad made by Archos and branded Arnova (that's the French company's even lower cost brand) finally received a capacitive touchscreen. The resistive touchscreen employed so far was one of the only big letdowns concerning Archos' first children-focused tablet. But now that's gone, and the ChildPad is even more interesting than before. Especially because this screen tech swap only made it more expensive by $10.
So the ChildPad can now be yours for $139.99. For that amount of dough you get a 7-inch 800×480 touchscreen, a 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 4 GB of built-in storage space, a microSD slot, a front camera, and Wi-Fi.
