. Google and ASUS may have taken a page out of Apple's playbook when designing and building the Nexus 7 tablet. The upcoming slate has been found to feature a Smart Cover-like magnetic sensor that, with the proper cover, will turn off the tablet's display and put it to sleep. The Nexus 7 appears to be the first and only Android tablet with a magnetic sensor. Neither Google or ASUS announced the feature during the products unveiling last month, however, and it isn't mentioned among the tablet's specs on Google's website either.
