Microsoft will be giving all Xbox users a taste of Xbox LIVE Gold for free this weekend. I guess in conjunction with the dashboard update that was released earlier this week, they want everybody to experience the full benefits of what a premium account can give in hopes of roping them in for good. In addition to free Xbox LIVE Gold this weekend, Zune Video will also be offering film deals and free content this weekend.
