The announcement came via its official Twitter account after the United States Federal Court denied RIM from using the BBX trademark for its next-gen OS forcing RIM to opt for something else, which as we know now, is the BlackBerry 10 OS moniker. The BBX trademark is already used by a firm called BASIS for its software, and therefore cannot be used by RIM in anyway for its next mobile OS platform. Poor boy, RIM but anyway, they finally have a name that seems to be put to use certainly.
