Huawei has unveiled its plans to release the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Huawei Ideos X5 (U8800). The update will be available by the end of November 2011. As a reminder, the Huawei Ideos X5 features a 3.8-inch WVGA display and a 5MP camera with HD video recording. The smartphone also supports HSPA, GPS and Wi-Fi. Stay tuned for more updates.
