Wi-Fi-only Motorola Xyboard tablets get updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the US

The Wi-Fi-only Motorola Xyboard 10.1 and Xyboard 8.2 tablets sold in the US are now in the process of receiving the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Almost two months after Android 4.1 Jelly Bean was unveiled. Let's keep hoping that under Google's ownership, Motorola will have a better software update track record. Anyway, as this is an over-the-air rollout, your Xyboard tablet will notify you when it's available to be downloaded and installed.

The full listing of new features that the update will bring has been made public by Motorola over on this page.
