Google has once again updated its Platform Version data, showing how the Android ecosystem was put together during the two-week period ending May 1st. Google gets these numbers by counting devices that access the Play Store, so it comes with a few caveats about accuracy. But anyway. It was a good month for the various versions of Android 4.0, which is now installed on 4.9% of all Android devices – quite a steep rise from the 2.9% of the market it was powering last month.
