Rugged Kyocera Duramax flip phone arrives on Sprint's Direct Connect on October 2

Rugged Kyocera Duramax flip phone arrives on Sprint's Direct Connect on October 2

Who said anything about flip phones dying a slow and painful death after the Motorola Razr went out of fashion. Well, apparently no one. Or at least that's what Sprint seems to think. The carrier introduces the upcoming Kyocera Duramax with words such as “workhorse” and “productivity” – so apparently those of you who actually work for a living aren't at all in touch with technology. Or just love flip phones.

Anyway, the Duramax (what a name!) is going to be a Direct Connect device, meaning that you'll be able to use it as a one-to-one or one-to-many walkie-talkie too.
