At the Frankfurt Motor Show a couple of weeks ago, Mercedes-Benz showcased a concept racecar based on the CLA. But it looks like its hatchback counterpart will be turning its wheels in anger before the four-door coupe gets a chance. The A-Class is being prepared for competition in the British Touring Car Championship by Ciceley Racing, which currently competes in the series with a Toyota Avensis – sponsored by a Mercedes dealership – which the team will continue racing until the end of the season, at which point they'll put it up for sale.
