Now that Nintendo's next-generation video game console, the Wii U, is available around the world, it's understandable the company would be halting the production of its predecessor, the Wii. We learned just a few days ago NIntendo had discontinued the production of the Wii over in Japan, which probably had many fans of the console rushing to their consumer electronics retailer of choice to buy as many of the last-gen console they could carry in their hands, but if your in the U.S., you shouldn't be worried.
