Project Azalea could be a TSMC factory in the US dedicated to building Apple's AX chips

About a week ago, we reported that according to rumors, Apple could be looking to build their own chips in New York. This would be a departure from Samsung who currently manufactures Apple's AX chipsets in Texas, and according to a report by The Oregonian, it seems that Oregon might be interested in competing with New York to house the 3.2 million square foot facility which is said to employ at least 1,000 people. The project, which according to sources has been called "Project Azalea", is by no means a secret.
