. Samsung (005930) on Wednesday announced two new Windows 8-powered tablets at the IFA trade show in Berlin. The Series 5 and Series 7 tablets include the company's S-Pen stylus and an optional keyboard dock to help the device double as a Windows 8 PC. The high-end Series 7 Slate features an 11.6-inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and is equipped with a Core i5 processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. The Series 5 Slate includes a lower-resolution 11.6-inch display - 1366 x 768 pixels - and is powered by an Intel two-watt processor, has 2GB of RAM and a 64GB SSD.
