A Kindle HD 7″ has landed in the office, and we are clearly going to publish a full review of the device. In the meantime, here is a video and some photos from the unboxing session. To be frank, there is not much to see as the packaging is truly minimalist, and inside there is not much besides the tablet itself and a cable. To cut on costs, even the power supply is sold separately (it's good to know) — although most people may already have some USB power source anyway.
The 7″ tablet is reasonably thin and light and the design is clean (let us know what you think by dropping a comment).
