The popular video player, VLC, made its brief debut on iOS but was then pulled by the developer over disagreements with Apple's iTunes App Store policies. We're sure that many Android owners are probably looking forward to seeing it arrive on Android, but a quick trip over to VLC's page has revealed that development of the app for Android is still in development despite its private beta being kicked off last year. Fret not, however, as an Android developer over in the XDA forums, adridu59, has taken it upon himself to compile VLC for use on Android devices.
