Samsung announces dual-core Galaxy Player 70 Plus Android PMP

Samsung announces dual-core Galaxy Player 70 Plus Android PMP

Samsung has unveiled a new Android-based portable media player, which comes as the successor to the Galaxy Player 5.0 released last year. The new device is called Galaxy Player 70 Plus, and features a dual-core 1.0GHz processor, being Samsung's first PMP to be powered by a dual-core CPU (and in case you're wondering, the world's first dual-core PMP is the Sony Walkman Z, introduced last year with Android Gingerbread on board, a 4.3 inch display, and up to 64GB of storage space). The new Galaxy Player 70 Plus looks a lot like a slightly smaller Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone (sold in more than 2 million units until now).
