. Amazon's Kindle Fire will be the second most popular tablet in the world this quarter according to new projections published on Friday by market research firm IHS iSuppli. An earlier report on Friday suggested Kindle Fire usage might already be in decline, but iSuppi says Amazon is in store for a solid fourth quarter. Apple's iPad will maintain its huge lead in the tablet space as Apple ships 18.6 million units globally this quarter according to the firm. Though trailing by a significant margin, the Kindle Fire will be the second best-selling tablet despite only shipping for half the quarter.
