Being based in a country where 20% of the population is 65 years old and above, Kyocera unveils a cell specifically designed for the Japanese elderly. The Kyocera Mi-Look is three devices rolled into one. It works as a basic cell phone with a 2-inch QVGA display and three large button, a pedometer that tracks the number of steps taken (the data is then sent to the caretaker via e-mail), and a GPS that family members can use to monitor their aging relative's current location (just in case they forgot their way home).
