One of the cool features of BlackBerry devices in general that we wish most phones would incorporate, would be a LED light that blinks when you have a notification, which makes it easier and provides a more subtle way of informing the user rather than having to activate the phone just to check. Unfortunately when placed into a case, the notification LED can sometimes be hidden, which is why this concept case by Steve Purvey, a design intern for BlackBerry, is a pretty clever idea.

Larry Ellison Pessimistic About Apple's Future Without Steve Jobs

Many have associated Apple with innovativeness, although there are some who feel that the innovativeness came largely from the company's late co-founder, Steve Jobs, and while Tim Cook is not a bad leader, there are some who hold pessimistic views about the future of Apple under Cook's leadership, and Oracle's Larry Ellison is one of them. ZTE is working on their own mobile CPU with integrated 4G LTE support

According to Chinese media, another smartphone vendor - ZTE – its getting into custom application processor business for its own devices. The new ZTE chip will come with integrated 4G LTE support and should be announced during PT/Expo Comm China, on Sept. 24th.
ZTE, like some other biggest smartphone OEMs, is following in Apple's footsteps with a custom ARM CPU development for their own devices. The problem is, no one,  except Apple,  was really successful with their own silicon so far.

The closest who came to at least limited success - is Samsung. Which put their Exynos CPUs into a few million smartphones.

Designed with Windows 8 in mind (it works on Win7 too), the TK820 lets you perform the new 13 gestures that make Windows 8 tick. It is built to feel like a comfortable laptop trackpad and provides the room you need to pinch&zoom, slide or swipe. Heavy laptop users may have to get used to the fact that the trackpad is no longer in the middle, but on the right side of the keyboard.
The keyboard connects wirelessly to the computer via a regular Logitech Unifying receiver USB plug.
