T-Mobile rolls out more iPhone-ready networks

Come 2013, T-Mobile will finally be able to say that they officially offer Apple's iOS products on their network, but at the same time this would mean that T-Mobile needs to hurry up with the rollout of their iPhone-ready networks. Well the good news is that T-Mobile has announced that they have recently rolled out networks in additional cities that will allow the iPhone to hook onto its HSPA+ offering. Granted it's not 4G LTE, but for some this isn't a big deal especially since LTE tends to be something of a battery drainer. These cities include:.

Sphero Robot Ball review

My initial thought when Julie asked the Gadgeteer Team, who would like to review the Sphero was ‘cute but I'll pass'. But upon further consideration, it occurred to me that I have an 11 yr old, tech-savvy son, spaz of a dog and insane cat at home just waiting for something like this to enter their domain, thus making me (and the Fam) a prime candidate for Sphero. Intel-powered “Red Ridge” tablet spotted in FCC filing

Intel has expressed interest in entering the mobile industry with its Medfield chips. So far there have been two Intel-powered devices released, both of which are smartphones, but could we be seeing an Intel-powered Android tablet. Perhaps we will, thanks to an FCC filing which revealed an Intel-powered Android device with its codename, Red Ridge. It is unclear that the moment who will be building this tablet, and what its specs will entail, but its FCC filing has revealed that it will come with Bluetooth, WiFi and NFC.

London Internet Exchange doubles network capacity with Telehouse London Data Centres

10 Dec 2012, London - The London Internet Exchange (LINX) has successfully completed the final phase of its network refresh project including the installation of a full LINX PoP using co-location facilities provided by global data centre and managed ICT services provider Telehouse.As part of a future growth plan, LINX redeveloped its networks across the Telehouse sites to allow for expected growth and increased demand in network capacity. This comes almost 18 years after the first LINX peering switch was located at Telehouse North.
