Last week it was reported that the iPhone 5 had managed to receive its network access license in China, which is a pretty big deal considering that China is one of the biggest markets, and gaining the approval the sell the company's latest smartphone is a step towards capturing some of that market share.

LG to Reveal In-House Chips in 2013

LG does a lot of things from electronics to appliances, even toothpastes, and they wants to add another title: chip maker. Last year, LG announced that they have licensed ARM's processor designs and now have over 900 people working to design the company's in-house chips for both smartphones and televisions. The year 2013 would reveal the fruition of LG's work as the South Korean company plans to reveal their first homemade chip, the H13, on CES. The “H” stands for Home Entertainment, while the “13″ denotes the year.

JLab's Bouncer Bluetooth speaker now available for $130

For those who are in the market for a new set of speakers with Bluetooth connectivity, JLab has announced the availability of their Bouncer wireless speaker. Featuring two 12W custom-engineered drivers and dual rear bass ports, the Bouncer is said to be able to produce warm and smooth mids, highs and a deep bass. We have yet to try this for ourselves so we can't really speak to those claims, but if you're searching for a Bluetooth speaker then perhaps it might be worth checking out. HTC Titan III hinted in Xbox Live Rewards Survey

With two iterations of the HTC Titan series, we wouldn't be surprised if a HTC Titan III was in the works and that might have been confirmed by Microsoft. In a recent Xbox Live Rewards survey, it was asked of customers how excited they would be if they were to receive the following smartphones as a gift - the iPhone 5, Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx HD, Nokia Lumia 920, the Samsung Galaxy S3 or the HTC Titan III. As you can see in the screenshot above, it clearly states the III, not the II.
