It's still March – late March, mind you, but it's March – and the update is now rolling out to users. The AirPlay market doesn't seem to be shrinking anytime soon, giving Logitech ample opportunity to tread on ground already marked by the likes of JBL and Klipsch. This morning, the outfit's introducing the Logitech UE Air Speaker with AirPlay technology, enabling uncompressed audio streams to flow from one's iTunes library, iPad, iPhone or iPod touch right to the home stereo. You'll need both the boombox and your AirPlay source connected to the same WiFi network, after which you can pipe sine waves to its pair of tweeters and woofers.

Apple's newest iPad could be making a trek over to the Orient very soon, if this latest regulatory filing is any indication. As recently as last week, China's Quality Certification Center granted that Cupertino slate - bearing model number A1416 - its seal of approval, paving the way for a retail debut in the region. If and when it does make it to official sales channels, expect that particular unit to be of the WiFi-only variety, as additional clearance is necessary for network-enabled variants.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has produced a minutely detailed document addressing and attempting to assess driver distractions. According to its numbers, "17 percent (an estimated 899,000) of all police-reported crashes reportedly involved some type of driver distraction in 2010." Out of that number, three percent, or 26,000 accidents, were caused by distraction from "a device/control integral to the vehicle," such as a navigation or infotainment system.

Blizzard's upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Mists of Panderia, was announced not too long ago and its beta has recently gone live, so would it be premature for Blizzard to start planning for the MMORPG's future expansion. A future threatened by wild robotic rottweilers with no humanoid dog-walkers to keep them in check. That must nothappen. Fortunately, we'll have a fleet-footed droid named "Hume" to keep us safe: he's the work of engineers at Meka Robotics and the University of Texas at Austin, who want to be the first to build a bipedal robot with Parkour skills, aka rough terrain free-running or "Human-Centered Hyper-Agility".
